Moogies - Cookeville, TN - Naked with Mild, Medium and Bleu Cheese Sauces

A few people that we have run into have mentioned Moogies here in Cookeville. They have said they were the best Hot Wings in Cookeville. We had to try them out. Dad ordered 30 of them to bring home and try. The wings looked great, looked like they were well seasoned and they are smoked. Let me talk about the sauces first. The mild sauce was a vinegar based sauce which was "ok" and had a mild flavor, now the Medium sauce had a sweet buffalo taste to it with a kick (I liked this sauce the best) and the Bleu Cheese was normal. So whats next? Oh yes time to try the great looking wings! So i picked up a drum first and tried them naked, no sauce. First bite i was rather disappointed. They had no flavor what so ever, they looked like they should of been full of flavor. So i tried another thinking that maybe that one just didn't get hit with the seasoning. Well i was wrong, still no flavor to the wing or drum. I ate the rest with the sauces which made them much better. Now if they could infuse that medium flavor sauce into the drum them self and grill them i would of been a happy camper.
