WoW Cafe & Wingery

Last night we ended up at WoW Cafe & Wingery http://www.wowcafe.com/, excited to check it out we were seated to our high top. We ordered fried pickles, wings, beer, salad & onion rings - how did that salad get in there?

It was boneless wing day ($0.65/ea) so i ordered 4 of them Australian Style (Sweet & Sour Raspberry) and let me tell ya this was my favorite sauce all night. The boneless wings were good and tender just wish they were bigger for 65 cents each.

I also had 6 wings with the Buffalo 1 sauce. I also tried the Buffalo 13 sauce. First of all the wings were lightly deep fried but didnt have alot of flavor on their own. There was not a whole lot of meat on the bones and they were not that tender. Second of all the Buffalo sauce (1, 2 or 13) had its own unique flavor and should not been called Buffalo sauce. These sauces did not resemble Buffalo sauce to me, my dad or friends. Third of all the Buffalo 1 had a slight heat to it that made your lips tingle. I liked that part. The Buffalo 13 kicked my ass Day 1 and 2. It was Cayenne based so it burned for a while. I only ate 1 Buffalo 13 wing and it was enough. My buddy Jeff ate 4 of them and gave 2 away. He was hating it after the 4 and the next day for sure.

Wings with Buffalo 1 Sauce

My dad had 3 different sauces on his wings, Australian, Peanut Thai and Buffalo 1. He didn't like any of them except Australian sauce.

Again this is only a review on the the wings and only my opinion. You can use it as a guide and make up your own opinion and would love to hear the comments as well. I will go back because the menu looked great with other items. I just won't go back for wings. The service was great and the cafe and decor was great.
