Cosmo's Grill - Cookeville, TN - Cosmic/Naked Wings

Tonight we stopped at a little joint in Cookeville, TN called Cosmo's Grill. We ordered a bunch of different wings tonight.

First order of wings were Naked Wings with a side of sweet bacon sauce and ranch. The wings here are breaded. They are XL type wings/drums. First thing i noticed is they were served right out of the fryer. I wish they would of seasoned them but they were called "Naked" Wings so i let that slide. They were crispy on the outside and very tender on the inside, surprisingly a lot of chicken on those bones also. The sweet bacon sauce was actually really good. The sauce was made up of a sweet and sour base with small chunks of bacon in it which provided just enough bacon flavor.

I am rating these 7 out of 10 Stars "*******---"

Second Order were what Cosmo's Grill calls there Cosmic Wings. All of Cosmo's Grills wings are the XL Breaded wings/drums. The Cosmic are the hottest of Cosmo's Grills wings they have on order. You can get the sauce on the side and have naked wings or you can have them coated, your choice. Tonight my buddy Jeff ordered the Cosmic Wings. They are coated in a very Hot sauce but the flavor is not something that makes you want to eat more then a few of them. I noticed Jeff's face starting to come to a nice shade of red as he ate them. He said his lips were tingly and almost to the point of feeling a burning sensation on them. The heat went away pretty fast. These will bring your blood pressure up. Unfortunately he had to dip the last few of them in the Hot sauce they have. I did not get picture the "Hot" Wings but i can tell you that the sauce is a little more on the BBQ side but with a hot heat that will leave you wanting more.

Jeff gave the Cosmic Wings, 5 out of 10 stars "*****-----"
